Landlord Tenant Division 

Welcome to the 62-B District Court Landlord Tenant Division. The landlord tenant division is responsible for handling all real property disputes. We handle your dispute from the first filing of a complaint, to hearing for summary proceedings, and enforcement of judgments.

Note: Before accepting a landlord tenant action, the clerk must verify that the action arises from a property located within the City of Kentwood.

How to file a pleading

To file a pleading, please complete this online form and upload your filing as a Word Document or PDF. Your pleading must be electronically signed with an electronic encryption program that ensures authenticity. If not signed appropriately, the filing will not be accepted. Please contact the court directly to pay the appropriate filing fee at 616.554.0714.
