Purchasing

The City of Kentwood purchasing process is governed by portions of City Charter & Code of Ordinances, City Commission Resolutions, and Mayoral Policy that are intended to provide a framework for consistency of decision-making, but also the flexibility to select a product or service from one that may not be the low bidder, but that which provides the best overall value for the City.  This allows the City to procure a wide range of products, supplies, equipment, and services to accomplish its goal of providing superior and efficient customer service.

If you have questions about the City’s purchasing needs or process, please feel welcome to contact us.
