Summer Concert Series - Chicago Farmer and the Fieldnotes
Join us on Thursday, July 13 for gritty country rock and folk performed by Chicago Farmer and the Fieldnotes. Fronted by Cody Diekhoff, he has been profoundly inspired by fellow Midwesterner John Prine, a working-class folk musician to his core. His small-town roots, tilled with city streets mentality, are turning heads North and South of I-80.
Food trucks include El Jalapeno, Taste of Toya’s World, and Kool Breze.
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and join us on the lawn behind Kentwood City Hall. Come early and check out the Kentwood Farmers Market which takes place next door in front of the Kentwood Library from 4:30-7:30pm. Concertgoers are also welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show.
