2022 Fall DateS: Oct. 15-Dec. 3

The City of Kentwood’s leaf and brush drop-off sites has reopened at the Department of Public Works, 5068 Breton Ave. SE, for the fall season.

The sites are open for Kentwood residents Oct. 15 through Dec. 3, except for Nov. 11, 24 and 25, when our offices will be closed for holidays. Hours of operations are noon-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.

The brush drop-off site accepts brush, sticks, tree limbs and logs. Materials that cannot be accepted include plastic or paper bags, trash, dirt, concrete, asphalt, tires, rocks, stones, construction materials, glass and metal.

The leaf drop-off site accepts leaves and grass clippings. Leaves should be loose when dropped off. If they are transported to the site in bags, they must be dumped out. Please do not leave bags in the leaf pile.

These services are available to Kentwood residents only; anyone wishing to drop off items must show proof of residency. Contractors are not allowed.

The drop-offs provide residents with a convenient way to keep their yards clear of leaves and debris as leaves begin to fall. The accumulation of leaves and debris on a property or in the right-of-way is prohibited in the City of Kentwood, as well as burning leaves and brush.

After closing for winter in December, both drop-off sites will reopen in the spring.
