Additionally, a tree recycle site will be offered at the Kentwood Public Works facility at 5068 Breton Ave. SE from Thursday, Dec. 26 until Friday, Jan. 31 (with the exception of Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, on which days the site will not be staffed). Residents may bring trees to the site between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note, all decorations, lights, wires, tree bags and other non-natural materials must be removed in advance.

As a reminder, the City's brush and leaf drop-off sites are now closed for winter. The City plans to open both drop-off sites again in the spring of 2020 from Saturday, April 4 through Saturday, May 30.
